This is Sam the cat with HIS mule Dan. During the day Sam sleeps in the round bale so he can watch over his herd. They belong to Deb Cole and thanks to Deb for sharing the picture!

I'm sending some pictures of my husband Gary's mule Pearl for your site. This year I got to ride Pearl since my silly filly (horse) injured herself. I have been checking out your classified ads now that I have decided to get my own mule. Jan Cobb Sholtis

Hannah is 5 years old and we enjoy trail riding all over Michigan. Our main goal is to complete the shore-to-shore ride in the future. www.mtra.org Hannah is my riding companion and has never failed me. Hannah is loving and kind, yet bold and daring. She jumps over crossrails, jumps logs on the trial, crosses water, and is a patient teacher for new riders. She is one in a million, and I thank God for allowing me to have such a wonderful animal in my life! Sue

THE ASSABOUTS FROM AUSTRALIA!

There is a group of us that live within a geographic area [approx 1.5 hours drive from one end of the area to the other] & we take turns to visit - floating or borrowing donkeys to ride/drive/walk depending on skills & what/who is available at the host's place. Our group is called the "Assabouts" & are covered under our State donkey society's insurance. We have a lot of fun, swap ideas, gear & info & celebrate each other's birthdays [incl. the donkeys' ones too] & have valauble friendship that is great with anything from a donkey being put down to a relationship breakdown!

Fiona.
